Introduction of Goods and Services Tax (GST) will indeed be an important perfection and the next logical step towards a widespread indirect tax reforms in India. As per, First Discussion Paper released by the Empowered Committee of the State Finance Ministers on 10.11.2009, it has been made clear that there would be a “Dual GST” in India, i.e. taxation power lies with both by the Centre and the State to levy the taxes on the Goods and Services. As GST is still a new concept in India to tax payers hence we will have to learn about it thoroughly before adapt to the new tax system. In order to learn every detail there are GST that can help to figure out what about all that you want to know about GST.

APIMR organized a two day seminar on GST on 19th and 20th Jan 2018 in association with Savitribai Phule Pune University. APIMR called for research papers from eminent academicians, professionals, practitioners and invited to discuss and deliver on the topic.

On this occasion APIMR invited to the Joint commissioner of GST Mumbai, Government of Maharashtra Mr. Kiran Nandedkar, APIMR also requested to CA Vikas Bankhele and Prof. Ameya Patil to introduce and share their experience about GST.

APIMR also got registered their title for research journal and processed for ISSN no.

On this Occasion, 19th Jan 2018 APIMR published its first Research Journal “International Research Journal of Commerce & Management” which is inaugurated by our Honorable President Shri Bhairavnath Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Member of Parliament for Shirur Constituency.
